When the energy giant DTE brought a new resource plan before the Michigan Public Service Commission, We Want Green Too and Soulardarity intervened — alongside the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic, Vote Solar, the Ecology Center, and the Union of Concerned Scientists. The result: $8 million in settlement funding for the 48203 and 48214 neighborhoods, powering four years of the Whole Homes, Whole Communities program, administered in partnership with Soulardarity and Elevate.
